COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM

"SEMDC's Community Support Program has given us an affordable way to have professional development staff coordinate a Economic Development Program that rivals those in much larger communities."

What CSP is?
Under the Community Support Program, SEMDC places a staff member in your community 1-2 days a week to act as the Business Development Coordinator. In this role, our staff will facilitate business and housing development, conduct Business Retention & Expansion Surveys, offer on-site business counseling, provide project coordination, etc.

How it works in your community?
SEMDC staff time is traditionally provided through a contract with your local unit of government.
